As a Wealth Management Advisor at Triangle Wealth Advisors, I act as a strategic partner to ensure the financial security of our clients. Our team specializes in working with financially responsible individuals and families, including many affiliates of our surrounding universities. We help clients build comprehensive financial plans and save toward targeted goals in the most tax-efficient manner while keeping distribution in mind.

I hold a Series 7 and 66 FINRA registration, the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation, the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation, and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation. I have been a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Qualifying member during 2012-2013, placing in the top 1% of the world’s best financial service professionals.

CFP® - Certified Financial Planner™

The Certified Financial Planner™(CFP®) certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

ChFC® - Chartered Financial Consultant

The Chartered Financial Consultant designation is one of the highest and most recognized marks in the insurance and financial planning industry. A ChFC® has completed the most extensive educational program required for any financial services credential. Each ChFC® has taken eight or more college-level courses on all aspects of financial planning from The American College, a non-profit educator with the highest level of academic accreditation. The average study time for the program is over 400 hours, and advisors frequently spend years earning this coveted distinction. Each ChFC® must also complete a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education every two years and must meet extensive experience requirements to ensure that you get the professional financial advice you need.

CLU® - Chartered Life Underwriter

The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU®, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, field management, home office personnel, and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU® designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

CRPC® - Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor

The Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation is an advanced credential focused on retirement planning. The CRPC® is awarded from the college for financial planning and focuses on planning techniques both before and entering retirement.

CASL® - Chartered Advisor for Senior Living

The Chartered Advisor for Senior Living curriculum prepares advisors to lead clients from middle age through retirement and assist them with the management, preservation, and transfer of wealth.
